About Rowena
I am a registered adult nurse with clinical experience in emergency care, flight nursing and medical assessment. I hold a doctorate in healthcare sciences and a master's in clinical research. I currently teach pre-registration nursing students (adult and mental health) and post-registration trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioners in higher education. I am passionate about teaching students from diverse backgrounds including those with learning differences. I am passionate about widening participation to ensure that tomorrow's nurses and ACPs are truly representative of the wider population.

I have 7 years of experience of working with a range of different nursing students from diverse backgrounds including undergraduate, postgraduate, pre-registration and post-registration students. I have supported apprentices and non-apprentices on their academic and clinical journeys, as well as those with learning differences. I provide a holistic and individualised approach to tutoring which is empathetic and aligned to your personal goals.
