About Tommie
Graduated in 2017 at the Italian Academy of Art, Fashion and Design for the three-year degree course in Fashion Design. Despite the passion for fashion and costume I have cultivated a passion for languages, especially English and Chinese. I have various language certificates (English: Trinity, PET, First - Chinese: HSK A1) and I have an excellent approach with young people because I try to find the study method that best suits their needs and their abilities. This also through the use of computer and multimedia devices (computers and researches) and programs for the development of concept maps (Power Point and CMapTools). the whole of the concept and matter.

My teaching method focuses heavily on the concept and understanding of the why of certain issues, and the facilitated memorization methods, which are often underestimated. And how our world is built on the basis of an infinite series of connections and links, between people, customs, traditions, innovations, choices and much more. I have a particular predisposition to teaching, it is something that I do with great pleasure and interest. I really enjoy helping others, and instilling self-confidence and self-esteem in them. I like to help students to know and learn, especially if SLD (Specific Learning Disorders), or with learning difficulties. I believe that the school has a duty not to leave anyone behind, I believe it has a duty not only to educate on a notional level, but to train the citizens of tomorrow. By instilling a sense of respect, altruism and community in them, as well as the desire to improve and to know or learn new things. I have already had various experiences of after-school help for children with ASD, with which we have been able to find an effective learning method that is functional to their cognitive and scholastic needs. I am familiar with the school approach with children and teenagers of all ages.
