I have 7 years of experience as a singing tutor and hold a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance, specializing in Lieder and Art Song. My teaching focuses on vocal improvisation for jazz and blues singers. I love helping students explore scat singing, melodic embellishment, and advanced harmony to create their own unique sound. My approach balances practical skills like ear training and applying scale and chord theory with creative expression. I believe developing a strong musical understanding is key to confident improvisation.
