About Alyssa
I am a recent college graduate from California State San Marcos with a degree in Anthropology. I have always been passionate about learning and specifically drawn to learning more about diverse cultures. I find that the more I learn about humanity-the more I learn about myself. Culture inspires me and that inspiration gets crafted into stories and songs that I get to share with others. I have been a musician for about ten years now and I find that using music and words in a specific way can have a lot of power to it. Now that I have graduated I want to share my knowledge and passion for culture and everything that comes with it such as; literature‚ history‚ music‚ and art!

My teaching approach is very interactive. I want my students to feel like they can ask as many questions as they want and feel comfortable to make mistakes. I like to ask the students a lot of questions too so that the class is interactive and we are working together to solve a problem.
