About Natalie
I am a Children’s Nursing Lecturer and Senior Practice Lead at a UK university, with over 18 years of clinical and educational experience. I specialise in supporting nursing students to succeed in placement, achieve their proficiencies, complete their ePAD successfully, and prepare for OSCEs and academic assessments. In my university role, I work closely with students, practice assessors, and academic teams, and I am directly involved in supporting students who are struggling, at risk of failing, or lacking confidence. This gives me a unique insight into exactly what universities and practice assessors expect, and the common challenges students face.
I am passionate about teaching because I know how overwhelming nursing training can feel, and I want to ensure students receive the right support to succeed. My approach focuses on building confidence, developing clinical reasoning, and helping students clearly understand what is required to progress safely and successfully.
