About Millie
Hello, I am a fun, dynamic tutor looking for some online pupils to inspire either general musicianship, music history, music theory, Clarinet or piano. I also tutor English for beginners. Whilst I was an au pair in Paris I taught English as a foreign language to multiple pupils. All of whom improved their language by at least two levels. Whether I am teaching Music or English, I love making lessons fun, inspiring and enjoyable for whatever ages. I studied my Music Undergraduate degree at the University of Bristol before being accepted onto the Masters Programme at the Royal Academy of Music in London. Whilst studying I taught multiple pupils the Clarinet, including tutoring several pupils whilst they gained music scholarships to top private schools. I am extremely invested in each pupil that I teach and am always determined to discover the best way to facilitate learning for each individual. What works for one pupil often doesn’t for another, but discovering what it is that makes each individual have those `'aha`' moments is what drives my lessons. It is very important to me that those wanting to develop their skills as Clarinetists are able to allow their passion to grow at the same time as developing their skill. I do this by keeping lessons fun and engaging. I hope to work with you soon! Millie is an exceptional musician whose ability to transfer her skill set to her pupils is second to none. She has a brilliant success rate with her pupils. I believe this is because she cares so much about each individual that she is one of the most dedicated teachers I know.
