Dr Marty possesses a peerless approach to pedagogy and an unparalleled understanding of the intricacies of social and political science, history and geography. Some topics we explored in our classes included 19th century colonialism, sustainable development, and disaster capitalism. Marty helped pinpoint weaknesses in my writing that I had never even recognised.
