I have been teaching Computer Science related subjects for over 25 years. I taught Digital Media Production at West Herts College in Watford, Computer Games Programming at the University of Bedfordshire in Luton and latterly have taught GCSE and A level Computert Science at two local Grammar schools. I like to keep my lessons very interactive so you will be busy and I won't be talking too long!

I like to start by seeing what the student knows already, like we would in a face to face lesson by using a starter task. If we are programming I like to use collaborative development tools like repl.it so that I can see how you are tackling a programming task. I usually finish off like I would in a face to face lesson in school with a plenary activity - I have created a set of online plenary activities to cover the whole GCSE and A level Computer Science syllabus. I find that one hour is ideal length for a lesson.
