My journey with chemistry began in 1972, when I embarked on my undergraduate studies in Chemistry (Honors). That initial spark evolved into a lifelong pursuit of knowledge, culminating in a Master’s degree with a specialization in Physical Chemistry and a doctorate with focus in Electrochemistry. Over the decades, I’ve had the privilege of mentoring generations of students, not just in the intricacies of chemical science, but in the art of thinking critically and observing deeply. My teaching philosophy has always been rooted in patience, empathy, and curiosity—qualities I’ve cultivated through years of classroom experience and personal growth. What I Bring to the Table: Languages: Fluent in English and Bengali, allowing me to connect with diverse learners across linguistic backgrounds. Teaching Style: Calm, observant, and student-centered. I believe in guiding rather than instructing, and in nurturing curiosity over rote learning.
