About Sam
With a PhD in Condensed Matter Physics from the University of Warwick (UK), I have gained valuable experience as both an experimental and computational physicist throughout my research career. I have had the opportunity to collaborate with esteemed institutions such as the Universities of Oxford, Cambridge, Durham, Hamburg, Southampton, and the Max Planck Institute.
In addition to my research work, I am passionate about public outreach and have successfully taught undergraduate students. In recognition of my excellence in teaching, I was awarded the Warwick Award for Teaching Excellence. Furthermore, I am proud to be an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, reflecting my commitment to high-quality teaching and learning practices.
