About Sophie
I have been qualified as a Registered veterinary nurse for over 5 years and working in veterinary practice for over 8 years. I decided I wanted to make the career change to become a Vet, and I am currently a veterinary student.
I am patient and enthusiastic, with a strong focus on understanding rather than just memorising, as this will provide more value over time. I have previous experience tutoring a variety of ages.

I am able to tutor on a wide variety of animal/ veterinary related topics. Including anatomy and biology, working through each topic to ensure the student has grasped the concept and linking them with real life examples.
I wasn't someone who naturally picked things up first time, and often needed to work through things at a different pace. Due to this, I aim to offer a patient and non judgemental space and can adapt my teaching dependant on the student and their individual learning style.

Sophie was great, there was a few topics I found difficult but she did a great job breaking them down and making sure I understood each part before moving on
