About Dr Karen
The most gratifying part of my whole career has been teaching and supporting learners both in clinical settings and in University. As a clinician I taught preregistration nursing students and post-registration public health nursing (health visiting) students. This led me into a career in Higher Education where I have taught UK and international health students (both online and face to face) in Public Health and Leadership and Management. I love teaching, particularly on a one-to-one basis where I can get to know the learner and tailor the learning to their individual needs
