I am a software engineer with two years of professional experience in the tech industry. I graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology where I acquired my love and passion for Computer Science. I have been holding lessons about various computer science topics for about 3 years now and have loved doing it ever since. In addition to tutoring, I have mentored several in regards to career development (resumes, cover letters, job applications). I would characterize my teaching methodology as very interactive. Rather than just throwing out content about a specific concept, I would rather sit down and work through problems with you to gauge your understanding of the concept. Typically, I would assign some sort of "homework" where I ask the student to do some prior research and initial investigation prior to the lesson. That way, we can clarify any questions around the topic at hand before taking a deeper dive. Engagement is key!
