About Martha
I have been interested in Musical Theatre since I was 7, when I started my first stage school. I attended private singing lessons from the age of 11, around the same time I became a part time student at Sylvia Young Theatre School, London. I attended weekly for 3 years. Meeting new people, learning from other performers and challenging myself gave me a thrill, and it excited me to learn about various genres and to push myself vocally. In my school years I trained as a Singer, and had various performance opportunities. I have always attended various societies ranging from Choral Society to Chapel Choirs to Rehearsals for Musicals. Before I turned 18 I had achieved Distinction at Grade 7 and 8 Musical Theatre and performed with a professional Big Band. My goal is to inspire the next future musicians and keep up the wonderful gift which is the performing arts

Music is all about performance, emotion and technique. In my lessons you will receive one-on-one mentorship and coaching with honesty and enjoyment. As a performer confidence is necessary to create a meaningful performance. Focusing on vocal technique and the musical trained ear, my lessons will ensure a student trains properly gifting an improvement in vocal ability. I have achieved high grades at both A-Level and GCSE Music, aswell as received the highest mark of Distinction in both Grade 7 and 8 Musical Theatre Singing and Performance. Over my 10 years as a singer I have explored the many genres including, Modern Pop, Musical Theatre and Jazz. Within the last 5 years I have had the pleasurable opportunity to perform with a Professional Jazz Big Band on numerous occasions and a Symphony Orchestra in which members of the National Youth Orchestra and young musicians of the Guildhall performed within the orchestra. My lessons would typically be 30-45 minutes long and are for all performers, interested in Musical Theatre, Jazz or Pop
