About Kah Wai

As a passionate educator with over 30 years of experience, I have dedicated my career to helping young children develop strong academic foundations and a lifelong love of learning. My educational journey began with a degree in Psychology from the University of Sheffield (UK), followed by a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of Central England in Birmingham. Throughout my career, I have taught early elementary students in the United Kingdom, Singapore, Malaysia, Texas, and California. I hold teaching credentials from the UK, California, and Texas, and completed the Texas Reading Academy's intensive year-long Science of Reading program, further strengthening my expertise in evidence-based literacy instruction.

I provide personalized online tutoring for students in Kindergarten through 2nd Grade. My specialties include phonics, reading, reading comprehension, writing, spelling, and early mathematics.
