About Gracie
I am a first-year QUT student majoring in graphic design and illustration. I have been giving art lessons all throughout high school (yrs 10-12) to many junior secondary + high school students. All have felt they have significantly benefitted academically from my guidance, and have progressed with more direction, skill and confidence. I'm highly knowledgeable with illustration and editing software like 'Procreate' and 'Picsart', and have recently taught a yr11 art class about these programs + illustration techniques.
During high school, I achieved consistent A+ marks throughout my last year in both art and graphic design and was additionally awarded the top student for those corresponding subjects.
I feel that my close connection to the junior secondary and high school curriculum makes me an effective candidate in tutoring this age group, especially as I have proficient knowledge in how art/design classes are run (+ expectations).

Hey there! I'm a first-year design student at QUT and I am offering illustration/design directed classes for individuals and small groups of students :). My lesson structures are very much tailored to the needs of each individual, and I really like to focus on conceptual thinking and creative problem-solving to create strong, sophisticated outcomes.
I'm a strong believer in allowing students to individually uncover their own creative journey in order for them to best establish a connection between them and their work. However, I can be of great value in helping students explore different avenues, and guide them through a more effective path to achieve better results.
I also have different approaches and experiences in teaching both art and design students, and fully understand the different skillset required (conceptual, abstract thinking to more structured problem-solving and prototyping).
