I have a degree in Sociology and Global Development Studies from Queen's University. My teaching method feature cooperative learning, differentiating instructions, and teacher-student interaction, and a focus on self-paced learning. I want the online classroom to be a place where each student feels as though they can ask questions, learn at their own pace, and collaborate with me on ideas and inquiries. One of the most commons fears about digital learning is that the lack of face-to-face interaction will be detrimental to learners. I want the learning environment to be connected. For example, including a Q & A session when needed. I aim to teach high school students from grades 10 to 12 and first-year College or University students.
