I believe that establishing mutually respectful relationships with students and their families is crucial if students are to achieve their full potential. The tuition I offer follows this structure: 1. Direct Instruction Illustrating complex mathematical concepts using step-by-step, visual, real-world examples. 2. Guided Practice Strengthening students’ understanding of key concepts by supporting them in efficiently engaging with mathematical problem-solving. 3. Independent Practice Providing resources for students to practise and consolidate skills independently between sessions, using this to give feedback and optimise future learning.
