About Lucille

Hello! I’m Lucille, and I’d love to help you learn with confidence.

I’m a qualified teacher with a PGCE and classroom teaching experience, including teaching Mathematics, Mathematical Literacy and Economics to school learners. I also have experience with coding, Python, data analysis and computer skills, and I enjoy making technical subjects easier to understand.

My lessons are friendly, practical and personalised to you. I adapt my teaching style to your level, learning goals and pace, whether you need help with schoolwork, want to improve your English, or are completely new to coding and programming.

I teach in **English and Afrikaans**, and I work with **children, teenagers and adults**, from beginners to intermediate learners.

Whether you're struggling with a difficult concept, preparing for an assessment, or simply want to develop a new skill, we'll work through it together step by step.

My goal is not just to help you get the right answer — it's to help you understand why it is right and become confident enough to do it yourself.

I’m a qualified teacher with a PGCE and practical classroom experience, offering supportive, personalised online lessons in Maths, Coding, Python, Data Analysis and academic skills.

My teaching approach is practical, patient and adapted to each student's needs. I first identify what the student understands and where they are struggling, then build from there using clear explanations, examples and hands-on practice. I aim to make difficult concepts feel manageable and relevant rather than overwhelming.

Languages: I am proficient in English and Afrikaans, I teach my lessons in both languages.

A typical lesson includes a short discussion of the student's goals, an explanation or demonstration of the topic, guided practice together, and independent exercises to check understanding. I encourage students to ask questions and make mistakes because that is an important part of learning.

My lessons are suitable for beginners through intermediate learners, including school learners, teenagers and adults. I particularly enjoy helping students who lack confidence or need concepts explained in a different way.

Whether you need help catching up with schoolwork, improving your English, learning to code in Python, or developing your data and computer skills, I will work at your pace and help you build confidence as well as knowledge.
