About Gemma
I came to teaching through working in a school for autistic students in Switzerland. Prior to that I had supported adults with mental health issues out in their own homes around Leeds.
I loved working with the young people and decided I wanted to train to teach. After 6 years in primary schools I took on a secondary role as supply and loved that too. I enjoy teaching English and helping students to understand what can seem like complex texts.
