About Meisha
I have over 20 years experience teaching foreign languages in a variety of educational settings in both Australia and overseas.
As a result of this experience, I know the common problems that students face when learning languages and, more importantly, how to help them overcome these problems.
I am a fully qualified, registered teacher in Australia. In addition to my teaching qualifications, I hold a Master of Arts majoring in Linguistics.
I have also been a language learner myself, attaining fluency in 4 languages, therefore, I understand the process of becoming fluent in a foreign language.

Having learnt foreign languages myself, I know that the best way to learn is by engaging in interesting and meaningful communication. Even with my beginner students, I manage to engage in meaningful conversational exchanges. Language is acquired long term in this way, not just temporarily memorised and then soon forgotten.
Grammatical explanations can also be provided so that students build an mental understanding of the structure of the language.
A typical class will be one hour; however, this can be lengthened or shortened to suit your needs.
Lessons are held online so that you can join a lesson from anywhere conveniently.
As an experienced and qualified Spanish language teacher in schools, I can provide lessons that follow the Australian Curriculum and prepare students for high school exams.
I can also tailor lessons to suit other purposes such as travel and tourism.
