About Will
I'm a Physics graduate with 5 seasons of ski instructing experience.
I've taught in Switzerland, Australia, Japan, and South Korea, for respected and professional ski schools, and have taught a wide range of abilities, ages, and fitness levels. When I'm not skiing, I am improving my cycling as much as I possibly can, or teaching maths online.
I absolutely love teaching and watching others enjoy skiing as much as I do - my main motivator is student satisfaction. Many ski days (or even lessons) are cut short or hampered by students feeling tired, fatigued, and wanting a hot chocolate - and so I thought it could be useful to use an online space to share my advice on ski holiday preparation. Beginner, intermediate, or advanced, there is always somewhere to improve!

First and foremost, I like to listen to the client. I make every effort to understand and personalise the client experience, whether on or off the snow.
During video calls we will discuss your skiing ability, what areas of skiing you want to improve upon, and physical exercises to give you the best chance of tackling these problems. We can discuss technique, skis, boots, or anything else I can help you with.
Think of the sessions as providing pre-season training, but personalised to your ability and activity level. I offer single consultations, or we can run a weekly catch-up to monitor your fitness and strength.

Will is an excellent teacher, very patient and can explain techniques in loads of different ways to help you understand, he makes you feel safe and comfortable on the slopes. He also has loads of experience from different seasons! I would highly recommend him to anyone at any level of skiing.
Will has really helped me to be a more confident skier. .. he's a very patient, respectful and knowledgeable instructor. I really like his clever teaching techniques and I would definitely like to further develop my skiing through his coaching in the future.
