About Scott
I have a passion for passing on knowledge to upcoming lawyers and ensuring that they have all the necessary knowledge to pass their exams and ensure they feel comfortable enough to progress in their careers and studies. I started out my career as an apprentice Paralegal at a law firm in Leeds before moving to a nationally recognised firm and later some smaller firms that provided services nationwide. I now manage the Court of Protection costs team at a firm in Darlington where we advise clients nationwide providing specialist knowledge and expertise. We have a number of apprentices who I work closely with to ensure that they are knowledgeable in all required aspects of law and supervise them in the day-to-day operations. I feel that it is important that there is an influx of young lawyers due to the demand and needs of the profession.

I am a qualified and regulated Costs Lawyer with the Association of Costs Lawyers and Costs Lawyers Standards Board. I have experience in tutoring students from A-Level to degree level and ensure the sessions are tailored to the students' needs. A typical lesson will include looking at the material, short style questions and preparing answers together.
