"No one should teach who is not in love with teaching." Margaret Elizabeth Sangster. I am a born teacher. From the age of 9 years old, I wanted to become a teacher. I always tutored and explained content to my fellow learners. As a qualified teacher I believe in not only caring about the content that I teach, but I always care about the individual that I am teaching too. I am qualified to teach grade 10 to 12 Accounting and Mathematical Literacy, but I am also willing to teach other subjects and grades. Everyone has different learning strategies and I aim to always plan my lessons in such a way that I cater for everyone. I can teach in English and in Afrikaans. I believe that a learner learns best when they are active participants in the learning process. I always include examples and then activities that I expect learners to do by themselves. I mark the activities with the learners afterwards and then help them by explaining what they did wrong or I clarify any confusions they may have.
