About Michelle
I run an Arts Award centre and am the first centre to ever deliver the Arts Award in Nail Art (the Arts Award has traditionally been delivered in other arts subjects such as dance, theatre and fine art). I run my business by myself but my nail-mad teenage daughter sometimes creates demo videos for me which I use in my lessons! The course can be done at one of three levels - including a level 2 course (GCSE equivalent) and a level 3 course (A-level equivalent). Completion results in a nationally recognised qualification from Trinity College London. I designed the course and am now passionate about sharing it as widely as possible! All of the students that have studied on my course so far have loved it. They don't always believe me when I tell them that they can do a GCSE level equivalent qualification (or pre GCSE or A-level equivalent, depending on the level you choose) and have lots of fun and not need to take any exams....but it's true, I promise!

Lessons vary depending on the level of award taken however all include several practical nail art designs and support in setting a personal challenge to learn new nail art skills and achieving that challenge. The courses also build confidence and leadership skills via independent research and the creation and delivery of a leadership challenge. Lessons usually last 50 minutes to an hour. I am a qualified Arts Award adviser/assessor and run an approved online Arts Award Centre. This means that I am approved for marking Arts Award coursework and submitting it to Trinity College London for the award (the course has no exams and is assessed via portfolio only). Note that this course is for UK residents only, age 11 - 24.

Details
Note that this is no ordinary nail art course. After completion of the 10 sessions and successful completion of the corresponding worksheets/sections of your portfolio, you will be awarded an Arts Award at the relevant level from Trinity College London. The rate is reflective of the expert knowledge and experience for you to achieve the nationally recognised Arts Award qualification. Your award will be at the level that is most appropriate for you and I can discuss with you what level that will be. I offer Bronze (for age 11+), Silver (usually from age 12/13+) and Gold (usually for those who have previously completed level 2 qualifications).
