About Laura
I received my PGCE in 2020 and have taught in schools ever since, delivering a wide range of subjects to primary, secondary and sixth form, with a proven track record for success. I am passionate about teaching, particularly working closely with individuals to ensure they meet their goals, and have seen many students reach grade 9 at GCSE or A at A level. I use a person centred approach to my teaching, with regular assessment and target setting to ensure you are meeting your goals, with visible, achievable outcomes. Lessons of one hour, tailored to your individual needs. Revision of prior learning is then coupled with exercises to target your specific learning goals, with regular feedback and assessment to help you improve. I have been a head of languages for the past 5 years at a small school, and have years of online tutoring experience alongside it. Experience teaching all ages from 7 to 18, and with proven results at GCSE, BTEC and A level.
