Luke tutored our son for one hour per week via skype in preparation for a Cambridge interview to read engineering. By going through 2 questions each week Luke helped him to understand and develop both the technical/academic level of maths he needed to achieve, how to express his thought process as he worked through each question and how he needed to pick up on cues in the question or from the interviewer. They also worked on other technical aspects, such as, graphs and drawings. Homework/topics to revise were set each week and our son was encouraged to do the questions posted online by Cambridge, all of which created a structure and some momentum to the process. Luke reviewed and commented on the personal statement and also undertook preparation for likely non technical questions. We all received comprehensive feed by way of a written report outlining the questions discussed, areas of strength and those requiring further development etc within 24 hours of each session. Luke was happy to discuss our son's progress with us separately by phone. I would describe Luke's tutoring as highly professional and whether or not our son is successful he has benefitted from the intellectual rigour/demands of Luke's sessions.

Luke managed to prep my 14-year-old for UKiset in just 6 Skype sessions with a spectacular result, including 99% percentile in maths. My son loved working with Luke who was encouraging, positive, constructive and effective.

I needed help with some of the maths for my IB mathematics HL internal assessment. Luke was extremely helpful in the short time I was taught by him. Luke has tutored my son since September to help him prepare the PAT exam. My son had gaps in his knowledge that needed to be covered very quickly. They meet up once a week over Skype.
