About Novlik
I am a practicing DJ-Producer based in Hyderabad. Having completed select courses at the School of Electronic Music, Manchester, UK, I have released two Goa Trance EPs and frequently perform at clubs across my city of residence.
For DJing, I use Pioneer's Club Standard gear. The student would be expected to possess certain gear for practice, which I could provide recommendations for. Controller-driven Traktor and Pioneer's gear are the platforms I shall be training the student on. Final touches shall be provided on club standard gear. I am a psytrance music DJ. A dedicated trainer might be required, should the student wish to learn styles suitable for other genres and/or scratching and turntablism.
I am recognised in Hyderabad for having given a strong momentum to Psytrance. Further, I have been certified 'Exemplary' by one of the most prestigious Music Business courses in the UK, and I have a knack to stay updated with the international music industry news. I shall be glad to pass on knowledge I gain from these inputs as well.

I believe that students must be trained from ground basics of today's tools, techniques and standards. All skills imparted must be transferable - a product that seems industry standard today, may turn insignificant in a few years, and this can never limit an individual whose basics are rock-solid.
Also, I have been trained in an environment where my trainers first assessed their students' expectations and music preferences, and based their entire courses on those factors.
Keeping the above ideas in mind, I would design a training plan that covers required topics completely and thoroughly. I shall provide active support and monitor progress periodically, and given the fact that it's a one-to-one training, adjusting to the learner's pace shall be absolutely feasible for best results.

> Students are expected to be conversant in English/Hindi.
> Prior to agreeing to further classes, we shall need to discuss the requirement, course outcome expectation, student's current knowledge/skill level, gear and software requirements/availability, etc. This shall decide the time and input required for achieving the targets. The first free class is intended for this purpose and also to demonstrate the teaching style.
> No cancellation charges are applicable if classes are canceled at least 6 days prior. In case of cancellation of class(es) from the student's side with less than 6 days' prior information, 50% of the fees or two hours' charges (whichever is higher) shall be retained as cancellation fees. Reasons force majeure could be considered. Repeated and significant delays shall be treated similar to cancellations.
> I shall try my best to avoid delays and cancellations from my side. In the unlikely event that I do need to cancel, an alternate date/time shall be offered to cover up.
