About Ariane
My journey in programming began with a fascination for creating logical solutions and interactive applications from scratch. I pursued a B.Sc in Computer Science followed by an M.Sc in Software Engineering to deepen my understanding of programming concepts, software design, and algorithms. Over 7 years, I have taught students across all levels, transforming uncertainty into confidence by providing clear, structured, and supportive guidance.
I focus on interactive, hands-on teaching methods. Using live coding demonstrations, exercises, and real-life examples, I help learners understand how each concept builds towards a functional program. I encourage independent thinking, experimentation, and problem-solving while guiding students carefully through challenges. Each lesson is designed to balance clarity, practice, and creativity.
Outside teaching, I stay engaged with emerging programming languages, frameworks, and development tools, bringing real-world relevance to my lessons. Watching students progress from tentative coders to confident problem-solvers who can design and implement meaningful projects is immensely rewarding. My goal is to equip students with the skills, confidence, and curiosity to thrive in programming and software development throughout their learning journey.

My lessons cover Python, Java, algorithms, object-oriented programming, debugging strategies, and project development. I emphasise clear explanations, practical exercises, and real-world examples to show how code interacts to create functional applications. Each session encourages students to experiment, think critically, and develop problem-solving confidence while enjoying the process of learning to code.
Lessons are customised for each student’s skill level. Beginners learn basic syntax, loops, variables, and simple problem-solving exercises. Intermediate learners focus on structured coding, modular design, functions, and basic algorithms. Advanced learners tackle complex projects, optimisation, software design, and algorithmic problem-solving. Through hands-on exercises, mini-projects, and stepwise guidance, students steadily develop confidence, logical reasoning, and the ability to approach challenges methodically and creatively.
Studying programming strengthens analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and resilience. Students learn to break down complex problems, test solutions, and iterate effectively. My goal is to nurture confidence and creativity in students, helping them develop practical coding skills they can apply in academics, competitions, and real-world projects while fostering curiosity and independence in learning software development.
