About Hazel
My journey in programming started with the fascination of transforming logical ideas into functional software. I earned a B.Sc in Computer Engineering followed by an M.Sc in Software Development, gaining expertise in programming languages, algorithms, and software project design. Over 10 years, I have guided students from foundational coding skills to advanced project work, fostering both technical competence and critical thinking.
I teach with clarity, patience, and adaptability, tailoring lessons to each student’s strengths and challenges. Using hands-on exercises, guided projects, and real-world examples, I encourage independent problem-solving and logical thinking. Lessons are interactive, iterative, and focused on nurturing confidence alongside skill development, empowering students to explore, experiment, and innovate.
Beyond the classroom, I stay engaged in emerging technologies, coding projects, and programming research, which enriches my teaching with current, real-world insights. Seeing students progress from uncertainty to skillful, independent programmers is deeply rewarding. Advanced learners work on complex systems, optimization, software design patterns, and large-scale projects to prepare for coding competitions, interviews, or professional programming careers. Each session balances explanation, hands-on practice, and reflective problem-solving exercises to promote mastery and independence.
Programming lessons also develop analytical thinking, systematic problem-solving, and perseverance.
