About Lauren
I am currently studying Professional Writing and Editing at RMIT University as I have been interested in reading and writing since I was in Prep and have wanted to pursue it as a career ever since. I have helped students at school with reading and writing as well as family members in my own time and have received positive feedback and have always enjoyed assisting students with reading and writing and seeing positive results as it is extremely rewarding.

I assist students with reading by using books that are aimed at their ages, are easy to understand and that look to help and encourage children with their reading; I read the sentence and then ask the student to read it back to me and if there are any mispronunciations, I gently correct them and encourage them to try again. I have tutored primary school students since I was in Year Six and have received positive feedback from both students and teachers, and am willing to tutor students from Prep to Year 12 with reading and writing for an hour.
