I adapt my methodologye to the profile of the student but I am very careful about the acquisition of good technical bases.
Having learned music theory at the same time as the instrument, I often do this with my students since I think it's the most effective and fun way to learn about music.
I'm also convinced improvisation, composition skills and playing with other as soon as possible is a must.
Eventually I try to make students aware of the musical life by encouraging meetings between amateurs, attendance at concert halls, libraries and instrument museums.
A violinist and violist, I play mainly in early music ensembles in France and abroad.
I studied in France (Paris, Nîmes, Aix-en-Provence) and Russia (Moscow) with several professors before synthetizing those various influence to create my personal way of playing.
