About Tania
I am a professional opera singer and teacher, who has performed with Opera Australia, Queensland Opera, Victorian Opera, Western Australian Opera, and internationally over the past 30 years.
My teaching experience includes tutoring children of all ages and abilities, tertiary students and working professionals.
The methodology I use is one which focuses on lower body support and upper body openness. This enhances volume and vocal freedom, that allows a closer and more specific interpretation to written music.

Over the past 30 years, I have been a professional opera singer and teach singing to students of all ages and abilities...from beginners to professionals.
My teaching experience includes children of all ages, tertiary and professional singers.
The superior lower body support technique I use, enhances volume, vocal freedom and expression. My lessons are either 30, 45 or 60 minutes in length, and I can accompany students on the piano or using backing tracks.
The performing experience I have includes holding many soloist positions over the past two decades with Opera Australia, Queensland Opera, Victorian Opera, and also numerous international engagements, however I teach all genres of music. I can be found performing on YouTube under Tania Ferris.
