About Michael
I am a Software Engineer who graduated from the University of Bristol with a Master's of Engineering (MEng) Honours degree in Computer Science. My education and professional experience have given me a range of tools to help my students reach their full potential.
The majority of my tutoring experience has been teaching Maths and Programming (Computer Science) to university students, however, I am open to teaching to all ages and have an awareness of most syllabuses and exam boards.

I like to keep my lesson informal but focused. I find it best to concentrate on the subjects which the student self-identifies as problem areas, whilst respecting any feedback which parents or teachers may have on their academic progress. For weekly lessons, I generally like to start with a review of the previous week to pinpoint areas we need to focus on and end with a plan for how the student can advance on their own throughout the coming week.

Michael is an incredible tutor. He helped me with my computer science work in which I struggled with the basic and advanced concepts. He took time to familiarise himself with the work before the lessons and we worked together through it and he explained everything we were doing to make sure I understand it. He has been great in helping me understand the work we were doing and making sure that in the future I won't have issues. He is passionate about his job and I can clearly see that he cares for his students.
I have been friends with Michael throughout Sixth Form and University, in which we both studied Maths A-level and obtained computer science degrees. Throughout that time he was brilliant at teaching me concepts I hadn't yet grasped and was always patient throughout. I highly recommend him as a tutor and am certain you won't regret choosing him.
