About Rafael
I have engaged myself in a wealth of musical scenarios. The perceived limitations that one field of music suggests us as a correct path are challenged by the knowledge and experiences of other fields. In this multifaceted process I found the liberation of music as a thorough and conscious practice. My academic journey has taken me to two bachelor's degrees - one in jazz saxophone and another in classical composition. In addition, I completed a master's degree in composition at the UdK Berlin. In my teaching, I dedicate myself to teach music as a powerful tool for an expressive, liberated life.
