About Alexis
I play as prinicpal second violin of the Tehachapi Symphony Orchestra in Tehachapi, CA. I attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln for my Bachelors degree in Music Performance where I met my partner who I regularly perform with in a duet up and down the west coast.
I have played in several commercials, movies, and on records. I love to make music for myself and am learning better how to improvise. Anything you want to learn, I am always open to learn.

I teach students of all ages and backgrounds, beginners through advanced. I love to work from the Suzuki violin books as well as teach pop and folk tunes. I can teach from ear or we can learn to read music.
I have been teaching violin lessons both in person and online for over eight years. I believe in helping you learn what you want to learn and growing with you.
