I’m James, a professional jazz and swing singer with over 12 years of experience performing and teaching across the UK and Europe. I hold a Bachelor of Music degree from the Royal Northern College of Music, where I trained in jazz performance and vocal technique. Music has always been a defining part of my life, and teaching allows me to share that passion by helping others grow in skill and confidence. My teaching philosophy is simple: every voice is unique, and my role is to help you discover and strengthen yours. I’m known for being patient, approachable, and motivational, always creating a safe and positive space for learning. I welcome students of all ages and abilities, from those discovering their voice for the first time to experienced singers aiming to develop their artistry and performance skills.
