Ernesto is a very attentive and engaging teacher. His lessons are clear, flexible, and adapted to the student’s needs. He creates a relaxed atmosphere and makes learning Italian both enjoyable and stimulating. Ernesto is the Messi of language teaching!

Ernesto is not only an excellent Italian teacher—patient, attentive, and able to explain things clearly to students at any level—he is also a true intellectual. He is fantastically knowledgeable, naturally curious, widely read, and genuinely interested in history, literature, music, painting, architecture—you name it, you can learn about it in your Italian lessons with him.

Ernesto opens his students to a rich world of cultural life. I have invited him to give lectures on art and film at the college where I teach, and they are always a student favorite. Lessons with Ernesto are a highlight of my week. I recommend him wholeheartedly, especially to intellectually curious and well-educated students who enjoy the pleasure of conversing with someone so knowledgeable, curious, and thoughtful.

I owe many of the Italian poems I now teach my students in English translation to my lessons with Ernesto.

Ernesto is a great teacher and a very engaging person to talk to. He has a wide knowledge of art, film, music and literature, and he brings these interests naturally into his lessons. The classes are not just about conversation: they also include language, culture and plenty of interesting ideas, always adapted to the student’s level and interests.
