I have been exploring many different systems and approaches for the past 15 years, and have well-organised and perfected my tuition material and approaches for more than a decade. I've known Steelianos since the very start of his music carrer and apart from his immense technical knowledge and live for the guitar, two things make him of the greats. First he respects the instrument and everything related with playing and he passes that to his students. Second and most important, he did the impossible: he made fall in love with music again ten years after I'd quit.
A few months back, I hired Steelianos for a series of electric guitar lessons.
Guitar is not my first instrument (bass player), and I was looking for someone to show me a few things around guitar technique and picking.
After explaining what I was looking for, I was impressed by Steelianos's ability and professionalism to tailor the lessons precisely to what I needed, breaking everything down into blocks that made sense and built on top of each other.
We ended up extending the lessons covering broader rhythm and metronome training.
