About Tali
Ever since I was a kid, I loved drawing weird, whimsical creatures— and am carrying this passion into adulthood through visual storytelling! I studied Film & Studio Art at NYU and am currently pursuing an MFA in Writing and Illustrating for Children’s Literature at Hollins University. My work spans illustration, comics, children’s books.
My art has been featured in multiple galleries including The Hive Gallery in Downtown LA, Giant Robot Gallery & Store in Sawtelle, and was part of Ultrahive Traveling show which included Nano Gallery in Osaka, Designafest in Tokyo, and more. My graphic novel stories have been featured in multiple festivals and anthologies including: "Chihuahua Head" featured in Nib & Ink Festival, "Face In The Fire" featured in Little Bag Of Horrors, "Visual Snow Syndrome" set to be a part of Nerd Emergency Anthology, "How to Find Imaginary Friends" is set to be part of Pomimo's #13 issue of Comics for Kids.
I love helping students build confidence in their artistic abilities by breaking down technical skills into easy to understand steps, and encouraging students to develop their own visual language. I’m passionate about making art approachable, encouraging, and fun, and I tailor my lessons to each student’s individual interests and goals.

I take a personalized, hands-on approach to teaching art, adapting each lesson to the student’s interests, goals, and experience level. This includes: strengthening technical skills like perspective, figure drawing, or color theory. Learning how to paint with oil, acrylic, or water color. Learn how to ink traditionally or digitally. Exploring mixed media (traditional and digital mediums). Honing one's distinct, visual language and creative Point of view, and more!
Lessons are for children, teens, and adults of all experience levels, from beginners looking to build foundational skills to advanced students preparing art school or college portfolios.
