I'm his mate! It's only because of Harshadeep I have learnt how to do a proper imminent critique. His empathetic yet stringent way of pedagogy may help many. He is lucid, yet sharp. If you are especially an UPSC aspirant, like I am, he is your saviour.

Elegant! Harshadeep sounds like a raconteur! So, you will not feel bored. You only need to take his classes as if they are all casual chats! He was my junior at JNU—although I have learnt so much from him. His way of handling academic subjects make you feel rooted in your surroundings, so that you really learn how to apply what you are learning from the comfort of your home.

Precise and elaborate knowledge! I took his lectures on Methodological Individualism, and Philosophical Problems of Economics during my undergraduate studies in Sociology in Presidency University, because since I had to balance a job and my formal education, I usually skipped most of the uni lectures. Harshadeep Sir, to put it briefly, saved my life. I can vouch for him! Two cons, now: 1. Sir is appalled by those students who study for marks. You mostly have to have a facility for language and dialectics to write your own answers and interact with him. His study material are not, as it were, dumbed-down stuff! Harshadeep Sir's lectures may not be for everybody in that regard. 2. Although it is a feast to get different viewpoints on a matter, his views are iconoclastic, mostly bordering on a critique of the Left, that could be interpreted as Right-minded. You really need to be patient with him.

Sir delves into considerable depth, connecting a plethora of examples, that truly facilitate my understanding of the matter!

The lecture are recondite at times! He implicitly urges you to be a blank slate that can be frustrating at times. I needed to submit to him in order to learn anything.

All in all, Harshadeep sir instills in you the passion to engage in ideas, not personalities. Thank you!

Harshadeep's expansive lateral thought is, I feel, is his USP! His peculiarly maximalist consideration of every social phenomenon, critiquing—parallelly—from every ideological lens possible, make his approach although global, nonetheless at the same time, local. His lectures, that are clear but bold, had proved consequential for launching me into the world of formal academia from public service!
In addition, Harshadeep is marvellously articulate.

I have known Harshadeep since his early days as a student. He is extremely industrious and a dedicated intellectual. His understanding of complex philosophical problems and abstractions is absolutely top notch. Most importantly he is a good teacher because he communicates complexities very lucidly and elaborately and is always willing to go the extra mile when it comes to explaining the ideas he wishes to convey. Students would be really benefited from his pedagogy and demeanour as an intellectual.

His technique of teaching is very unique. Anyone can easily understand his teaching process. I would highly recommend him.
