About Chris
I'm Chris, a private tutor based in Norwich offering GCSE and A-Level tuition in Maths and Physics, both online and in person. I hold a PhD in Particle Physics and a PGCE in Secondary Physics and Maths, and I’ve spent over half a decade working in the higher education and research sector.
My background spans scientific research, technical development, and education - giving me a deep understanding of how people learn and how to explain complex ideas clearly. Over the years, I’ve taught and mentored students at secondary school, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels, always with a focus on building understanding and confidence.
I believe strongly that learning is a process of exploration, and that making mistakes is not only normal - it's essential. My lessons are calm, structured, and tailored to each student’s needs.
