About Linda
Hello, my name is Linda Aguirre, I graduated from the Bachelor of Music with an orientation in composition from the ESMDM.
And graduated from the UANL with an intermediate technical degree with a piano orientation.
I won 2nd place in the “Young Virtuosos” contest 2017” in the 1st category and honorable mention in the contest “Young Virtuosos 2018” in the 3rd category with the instrument
piano. My works have been presented in different panels such as Sonora Visions 2021, the International Music Forum Nueva Manuel Enríquez 2023, and in different meetings of
composition within the ESMDM, there have also been presentations at the Professional Conservatory of Music Santiago de Compostela, in Spain by the Vertixe Ensemble of Spain, Cronopio of Querétaro and teachers of the Higher School of Music and Dance of Monterrey in August 2023, and its opera 3L D14 D3 H0Y presented in Lucca, Italy at the Puccini Chamber Opera Festival 2024 with Special Mention in the Cluster Opera Prize 2024. I have taken courses in different areas of composition such as: the PUCCINI contemporary opera course International Opera Composition 2023 in Lucca, Italy; the use of different DAWS, including “Ableton Live”, in turn, courses with different instrumental groups such as the “Quasar Quartet” (saxophone quartet), and various composition techniques such as: "New Formats for Opera", "Creation Processes"; and "World Timbres
Mixture";, among many other courses and workshops.
