About Cian
As a recent graduate who's completed the Bachelor of Science at university in Melbourne, I believe that learning is lifelong, and everyone has a unique perspective on learning new things. I facilitate this as a tutor by encouraging them to ask me questions and of course, linking their knowledge and applying them in unfamiliar situations, and encouraging them to complete practice questions to help retain this knowledge and skills that they've learnt throughout the sessions.

I completed the Bachelor of Science in Melbourne, majored in Infection and Immunity last year and I have 5 years of experience, working as a private tutor for maths and science students. My sessions are for years 7-10 students. In my lessons, I will go through the fundamentals of each topic, using a step-by-step method and ensuring that my students will understand the basics before moving onto the more difficult concepts. I don't believe in this whole do this, do that mentality, I will take the time to explain difficult concepts until my students understand them and then they can work through the questions by themselves. I also provide lots of practice questions so that my students can put into practice what they've learnt in class, and I will also send in lesson recordings for them to have a look through after each session. My lessons are usually either 60 mins for £35 or 90 mins for £50.
