About Colin
In addition to being part of the Princeton University Orchestra for several years, I've been in region band and orchestra in New Jersey as well as the NJ All State Choir, have performed in 20+ musicals, and sung with a capella groups and church choirs around the state. I've played in pits on numerous different instruments and have a strong background in music theory.

The first lesson every great horn player needs to know? They're not going to be perfect! It's a fickle instrument that we love here, and becoming your best is all about finding your sound, your musicality, and your music. We will start off right away by seeing where you're at and talking about where you want to go, then we can work on various exercises on tone, rhythm, and range. We can find the right music for you to work on and go through in chunks to make it the best it can be, and will also spend time working on music theory and ear-training. We'll end lessons with duets to practice sight-reading and playing with another person. All will be fun, and all can be adapted to meet your needs!
