About Olivia
I recently graduated from Princeton University and have moved back to the UK after four years in the US. Maths was always my favourite subject at school, particularly because I enjoyed the satisfaction of working at something until I fully understood it and could tackle even the more challenging problems with confidence. I’d love to help other students have that same experience and hopefully enjoy maths more along the way.

I like to focus on understanding rather than just memorising methods. I’ll work through problems with students step by step, identifying where they’re getting stuck and explaining concepts in different ways until they make sense. Once the fundamentals are clear, I think practice is really important for building confidence and learning how to approach unfamiliar questions independently.
I recently graduated from Princeton University with a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, where I was also a Teaching Assistant. In that role, I led lab sessions and office hours and really enjoyed helping students work through difficult concepts and problems.
I offer Maths tutoring for GCSE students, whether you’re looking to strengthen particular topics, keep up with schoolwork, prepare for exams, or push towards a higher grade. Lessons would typically be an hour, but I’m happy to adapt them to the individual student and what they want to work on.
