About David
As a graduate of Princeton University's Anthropology Department, I have honed my skills as a research writer and proofreader. I completed my Associate of Arts Degree and high school diploma simultaneously with a >4.0 GPA in each. I was
awarded the 2022 prize for “outstanding sophomore writing” by Princeton University's Creative Writing department. My short stories are published in two undergraduate journals as well as Tortoise, Princeton’s selective pedagogical journal. My 2023 and 2024 independent anthropological research totaled over 200 pages of academic writing, both of which received an A from the department.

A lesson with me could include a first draft critique, hands-on writing exercises, or guided outlining and brainstorming. Each student should develop their voice as a writer. Lessons will be catered to your individual needs.
Many tutors use strict formulas to teach writing to their students, but most famous works of research and fiction are anything but formulaic. My lessons will help improve your writing without putting it into a box.
My instruction is best suited for high school and college students writing fiction, social studies research, or argumentative essays. However, I am also experienced with STEM writing and creative non-fiction and can develop a lesson plan to suit those needs.
