About Doreen
My name is Doreen and I am 25 years old. I live in London and I am currently a Primary school teacher. Before teaching primary, I taught secondary for 2 years teaching Spanish and PSHEE. I have also lived in Spain where I taught primary school English and always perfected my Spanish language. I love to travel and have visited over 20 countries (hoping to do 30 before 30, wish me luck!) All these experiences and knowledge are what make me confident that I am a great tutor and teacher and I am no boring one, I promise!

Hi there! Lovely to meet you. When I teach, I teach in chunks and always ensure that at every step you are able to understand, adjusting to your needs and pace. I will not remind you of your overly strict and mean teacher growing up (or your kid's one if they're still in school) because as a person, I will not shame you for asking questions and getting things wrong since it's the best way to learn! If I'm teaching you a written subject, there will be a lot of speaking, listening and then practice time! keeping the lesson upbeat and giving you lots of opportunities to show yourself your own progress.

Doreen is an amazing teacher, I absolutely loved learning Spanish with her. She makes it so fun and interactive while taking you through the curriculum so that you’re improving each week. She also goes above and beyond to explain the context of how Spanish is spoken in different countries, even learning some local slang! She’s really patience and encouraging - I would highly recommend.
Doreen was my tutor for a year and a half and was truly fantastic. I learnt so much from her and looked forward to my lessons so much as she made them so much fun. Can’t recommend enough!!
