About Kate
I am a Singing tutor with 13 years of experience, having taught over 250 High School and College students. My teaching focuses on strengthening vocal techniques, improving pitch, tone, breath control, and stage presence. I believe singing is both a technical skill and a form of personal expression, so I help students connect with music emotionally while mastering the fundamentals. My teaching philosophy emphasises patience, personalised guidance, and a supportive learning environment where students feel confident to explore their voice. In addition to Singing, I teach rhythm training, ear training, basic music reading, vocal hygiene, posture, and performance skills. These subjects strengthen both vocal and musical growth.
