Day 1. Explain the topic.

Ask the student to form their own questions from chapter.
Day 1 ( Homework ) : Previous year questions or back exercises of the chapter - Mark down the wrong done ones.
Day 3 : Revision of the questions formed by the student.
Day 6 : Revision of the wrong done questions in homework.
Day 15 : Test.
This method is called spaced learning. And doesn't force a student to mug up a topic right before the night of exam. It's also less strenuous. My prime focus is to teach a topic in the least stressful way possible.
